I plan to use it immediately to teach my Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and dental residents while making clinical and practice management decisions. Evidence-based medicine provides some validity to our assumptions, but it doesn't establish causality. By challenging assumptions, we can unearth several confounding factors in establishing cause and effect.
